Why are TAB so popular?

TAB pioneered gambling in Australia and as a result they now have over 9,000 venues throughout Australia. So it’s incredibly easy to place a bet at your local TAB venue.

Their website and app is a must have for any punter given their unrivaled coverage of all three racing channels (Sky Racing 1, Sky Racing 2, Sky Thoroughbred).

Why we like TAB ✅

TAB have improved their online service by a lot in recent years and it’s now as good, if not better than any other bookmaker in the industry.

We also like that when you bet with TAB you’re directly adding money into the pools, this is important for exotics and quaddies.

Obviously their live streaming coverage is second to none and worth having a TAB account just for this in our opinion.

Why we don’t like TAB ❌

It’s hard to find too many faults with the TAB these days, had we written this 5 years ago it would be a different story but they’ve come along in leaps and bounds.

TAB don’t offer products like Protest Payouts which I think could be hurting them with recreational punters. I don’t think it’s enough of a reason not to have an account with TAB though.
